Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Lynwood Spray Foam Insulation to do at your home or business. When you browse the site, call us, send the contact form or book a job, you're agreeing to them, so please read them first.

If something here doesn't sit right with you, call us at (424) 338-0203 before we start. We'd rather sort it out on the phone than at your door. You can learn more about our crew on the About page.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Lynwood, CA. Our work includes spray foam, blown-in and attic insulation, insulation removal, air sealing, crawl space and wall insulation, vapor barriers and commercial jobs. We serve Lynwood and the cities around it.

The descriptions on this site are general, because every house is different. What we'll actually do at your property is whatever we agree to in your written estimate. The home page gives an overview of our services.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and come with no obligation. We come out to your property, look at what's up there now and give you a written estimate that lists the work and the price.

An estimate is based on what we can see and reach on that visit. If we open up the job and find something we couldn't see before, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, damaged framing or wiring that isn't safe to cover, we'll stop, show you and explain what it changes before we do any extra work. You decide whether to go ahead, and we won't charge for added work you haven't approved.

An estimate stays good for the time written on it. After that, material prices may have changed and we may need to update it.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays, sickness or a job before yours that runs long can push a date back, and when that happens we'll call you as early as we can and set a new day.

Please make sure we can reach the attic, crawl space or walls we're working on, and keep kids and pets clear of the work area. Some products, spray foam in particular, have a re-entry time, which means you need to stay out of the house until it's safe to come back. We'll tell you before the job how long that is and when you can return, and you agree to follow it.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, call or message us as soon as you know. If we've ordered special materials for your job or you cancel on the day the crew is already on its way, we may charge for those costs, and we'll tell you about that when you book.

Payment

Your estimate or agreement lists what you owe, when it's due and how you can pay. Larger jobs may need a deposit before we order materials or schedule the crew, and the rest is due when the work is done unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.

If a payment is late, we'll get in touch with you first. Unpaid balances may lead to collection costs where California law allows them.

Our guarantee and what we don't promise

We stand behind our work, and satisfaction is guaranteed. If something about the job isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it.

Insulation products carry their own warranties from the companies that make them, and those makers decide what their warranties cover. We'll install the product the way the maker says to, so that warranty stays in place.

Insulation can help a house stay cooler or warmer and can cut down on drafts, but we can't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in any room. Results depend on your house, your heating and cooling equipment, the weather and how you use the house. Apart from our guarantee and any written warranty we give you, our work and this website are provided as is.

Limits on our liability

We're fully licensed and insured, and we're responsible for damage our crew causes while working at your property. Beyond that, to the extent California law allows, Lynwood Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost income or problems caused by conditions that were there before we arrived and that we didn't agree to fix.

Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, unless the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that California law says can't be waived.

Using this website

The information on this site is general and meant to help you understand insulation work. It isn't a quote or professional advice for your specific house, so call us or ask for an estimate before you make a decision.

The words, photos and design on this site belong to Lynwood Spray Foam Insulation. Please don't copy them for business use without asking us. If we link to another website, we don't control it and we're not responsible for what's on it.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with anything, call us first. Most problems get fixed with a conversation and, if needed, a return visit from the crew.

If we can't settle it together, either of us may take the matter to small claims court or another court with jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the newest version will always be on this page. Changes don't affect a job you've already signed for, which stays under the terms in place when you agreed to it.
